In the museum we offer the following special events:
Every Monday from 4 to approx. 5.30 pm, we offer game-playing or handicraft. The participants should be at least 8 years old, exceptions are possible if an adult stays around.
Game-playing: The are several easy-to-learn table-top or cardgames with penguin-figurines or motives to choose from. Between games, there will be a break during which the participants can look around freely or take a guided tour with information on penguins suitable for children. The service charge is 3,- € per participant.
Handicraft: We will - of course - make some penguin-item for the kids to take home, such as window-color-pictures, mobiles and even lanterns. At the end of the period, the members of the group can look around freely or take a guided tour with information on penguins suitable for children if the remaining time permits. The service charge is 5,- € per participant including material.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the designs we work on are rather challenging and children should be able to concentrate long enough to actually finish the design themselves, we ask participants to be at least 8 years of age. Exceptions are possible, if an adult stays around.
There is no maximum age - we've had seniors taking part with more enthusiasm than some of the kids  .
Since space is limited, we kindly ask for registration by phone (+49-175-3354113) or directly inside the museum to assure that we have enough space and the trip will not be in vain.
ATTENTION:
From the beginning of November through Christmas Day (December 24th) the Penguin-Museum is closed – even we need holidays once a year. Sorry! Those who wish to visit the Museum during that time, are welcome to contact us by phone and make an appointment. If we can, we will be happy to open especially for YOU! |
